Even this minimum portends great difficulties. The terrain in front of the building's facade should be sharply lowered in order to build an entrance ramp and a platform near the garage door. Formally, part of the foundation should be deepened to the freezing depth measured from the level of the basement floor. But this is usually not done when trying to solve soil protection issues in any other way.

The relative possibility of inserting a gate into the foundation wall can only be ensured if the project involves a lowering of the topography towards the gate.

Therefore, the question of the feasibility and possibility of constructing an underground garage should begin with an analysis of the topography of the future development site.

To increase the height of the room to at least two meters and forty centimeters, it is necessary to either further lower the level of the basement floor, sharply increasing its depth, or increase the base of the house. Both solutions are bad. They complicate the project and lead to a pointless increase in costs for almost the entire foundation, for the sake of creating convenience in one room.
