Termofor sauna stoves: design features and best models

Customer reviews about stoves

On the forums you can read very different reviews about Termofor stoves, but most of them are positive. Some of them:

“And I like my Angara stove. We are on Normal for the 2nd year. We heat with peat briquettes, it’s very warm and there’s not a lot of fuss with the stove.”

Bath stoves Termofor
——————

“We bought a MERANO stove (imported) for the house, and a GEYSER bathhouse, they are the same price. Both the house and the bathhouse are approximately the same area (5x5 and 6x4). So, the Thermofor GEYSER heats the room twice as fast, I regret that I bought such a stove for the house (I thought since it was imported, it was better)! The beauty of the stove is not the only advantage! Let’s see how it shows itself over time!”

——————

“I decided to share my impressions. I have a Termofor sauna stove. I recently bought it for a sauna, it’s called Vitruvia. It’s probably hard to call it a stove anymore, because it’s very sophisticated. However, the 21st century... It has a very large screen built into it, it’s convenient to watch the combustion and it’s just beautiful. Diagonal 58 cm! It does not darken, it practically does not even need to be wiped (convenient for lazy people and bachelors). The stove heats up very quickly - a steam room is what you need. In appearance, it fits perfectly into a sauna. The stove itself is small, as I chose for my cubic meters.”

—————

“Do you have a strange smell when firing the stove? I myself recently bought, not this one, but from a different manufacturer. Now I’m thinking: will it fade or not?”

@Alkard The strange smell is the machine oils that are used to lubricate everything at the factory. I had an odor the first time I used it. Then there were no problems.

Reading reviews about Termofor stoves, you understand that for the most part customers are satisfied with the choice.

Questions about operating stoves

Which model of the TMF sauna stove provides maximum heating of the stones to produce light steam in Russian bath mode?

At the moment, of all Termofor models, the Geyser 2014 and Angara 2012 sauna stoves fully meet these requirements. Their design provides for the production of “light steam” using a closed heater.

The Tunguska 2022 model is installed in the steam room, and Normal 2 in the relaxation room. Can they be connected to the same chimney?

No. The Operating Manual for stoves does not provide for this option for installing a chimney. The manufacturer recommends installing its own separate chimney for each stove based on the basic fire safety requirements of the set of rules SP 7.13130.2013. A separate smoke duct should be provided for each stove.

Can I use chemicals or a special chimney cleaning log to remove soot from the chimney?

It is necessary to use chemicals to prevent soot deposition within reasonable limits. With low draft in the chimney and constant use of coniferous firewood, soot deposition is intense, and the “miracle log” will not replace mechanical cleaning and can even cause ignition inside.

Why does the ash drawer of the Geyser 2014 stove have no back wall, is this a defect?

The back wall of the ash drawer is initially absent in the Geyser 2014 model and in other Termofor sauna and heating stoves. It is structurally located along the entire length of the firebox and allows you to remove accumulated ash without interrupting the process of burning wood in the firebox.

I accidentally ruined the paint on the surface of the Tunguska 2017 convector. How to paint it?

Termofor stoves use KO-868 (and better) enamel produced by Certa. This paint is available for sale in aerosol form. Complete polymerization of the enamel occurs at 250 degrees when the stove is fired after tinting.

I heated the Kalina 2 stove to burn out the paint. The glass in the door was covered with soot. Is this a defect or a bad craving?

No, this is not a marriage. When firing a sauna stove outdoors for the first time, the door must be kept ajar. This will prevent soot deposits. When installing the stove in a bathhouse and connecting a chimney of the required size, there will be no deposits.

Advantages and disadvantages

Termofor stoves have a number of advantages:

  • affordable price;
  • ease of use;
  • safety;
  • Possibility of use in any room;
  • durability and reliability.

An important aesthetic advantage is that the stoves are produced in several colors: terracotta, anthracite, stainless steel and chocolate. The units fit perfectly into any interior.

If we compare the products of this manufacturer with popular domestic brands of bath units Ermak, Vulkankomplekt or Teplodar, then Termofor has more compact dimensions, high fuel economy and an attractive design.

The disadvantages of stoves include:

  • high price;
  • Lack of stainless steel stoves with a steel thickness of more than 3 mm in the range.

"Shilka"

The wood-burning stove is designed for steam rooms with a small volume - from 6 to 12 cubic meters. Double-walled, with an open heater at the top and a chimney located in the center. Decoding the abbreviation

The design of the RKGM, characterized by extreme simplicity, is shown schematically in Figure 1. The product contains a multi-wire conductor 1, covered with a layer 2 of rubber insulation. The functions of the top covering are performed by braid 3 of fiberglass threads. RKGM, according to the generally accepted classification, refers to wires because does not contain a dedicated full-fledged shell and various shielding coatings. Braid 3 of this product should be considered an element to reinforce the rubber insulation.

Traditionally in the electrical industry, the wire abbreviation contains the most important information for consumers. It comprehensively characterizes both the design of the wire and its main technical features.

The RKGM brand is formed according to the current rules, interpreted as:

  • RK – rubber insulation (R) on an organosilicon, otherwise silicone base (K), which provides good temperature properties;
  • G – multi-wire conductive copper core of at least the fourth class of flexibility (G) according to GOST 22483-2012, made of electrical copper;
  • M – external braid with additional impregnation, applied directly to the main insulation without the use of an intermediate pad.

The design does not provide armor or other reinforcing coverings.

The digital index, which complements the letter part of the brand, is numerically equal to the cross-section of the conductor in square millimeters.

The best gas stoves for saunas

TMF Urengoy

A constantly updated and modified model from one of the leaders in the domestic market, the Urengoy stove combines thermal efficiency, safety and reliability, and all previous shortcomings have been corrected by the company, based on feedback from users who purchased previous versions. The stove is designed to heat a volume of 12 m³, has a chimney, and its firebox volume is 42 liters. According to its characteristics, this is an optimally balanced device suitable for many baths.

It stands out because of its interior - all pipes, valves, etc. are hidden behind a glass door, the stove looks simple, everything in it is arranged conveniently. The manufacturer provides a 1-year warranty. Such a stove will cost about 13,000 rubles, which allows us to consider it a good choice in terms of price and parameters.

TMF Taimyr XXL 2022 Inox

All-cast iron stoves and stoves with only cast iron fireboxes

What's the difference between the two? Steel ones will give off heat faster and cool faster. If you usually have little time and want to quickly start bathing procedures, then a steel firebox with a cast iron firebox will last a long time and heat up quickly.

To regulate convection, soften IR radiation, and retain heat, you can always cover a steel stove with brick or stone (necessarily with vents).

Another differentiating factor is price and weight. A solid one weighs more and costs more.

By the way, you may find this article about all the types of cast iron wood stoves useful.

Sauna stoves made of cast iron

There are few manufacturers of all-cast iron stoves on the market. First of all, the following ones come to mind are “Hephaestus”, “Magnum”, “Inzhkomtsentr VVD” (some models), “Svarozhich”.

As an example, consider the following model:

Cast iron stove for Russian steam bath

reports that “Russian Steam” is an improved “Kalita TM”. The model is based on the ChT-1 developed by Magnum. The door and tunnel are also made of cast iron. Apparently, the only steel part was a box for stones, that is, a closed heater, but the steel is stainless, so everything is fine: you can pour water without fear - the box will not rust or burst from temperature changes.

Cast iron stove for the Russian steam bath (Inzhkom) photo from the site www.vvd.su.

Let us clarify that “Kalita” “Inzhkom” is, at its core, the same furnace, which Magnum greatly improved, and it sold this basis to “Inzhkomcenter” and produced its own furnaces. Therefore, when it comes to the Kalita sauna stove with a cast iron firebox, it is worth deciding exactly whose products you want to purchase. “Kalit” has many modifications, almost all are expensive, lined with stone.

Bath stove "Kalita" with a cast iron firebox.

For those interested, watch the process of assembling the Kalita stove. Filmed right at the factory, along the way it tells about the features of these particular furnaces:

For comparison, here is a video of product assembly:

Stoves with cast iron firebox for baths

On sale you can find a separately sold cast iron firebox for a sauna stove - for example, ChT-1 produced. In this case, it is intended for self-lining with brick or stone.

A video comparing the Kalita and ChT-1 cast iron fireboxes:

And if you look at the people's favorite - the Vesuvius Legend stove, it turns out that it is practically only a cast-iron firebox, placed in a “playpen” of rods and strips of metal, where stones are then placed, forming a ventilated casing around the firebox. And there are a great many such ovens. They are fashionable, people love them, and there is less work for the manufacturer.

"Vesuvius Legend" with grid

But this is only one variety. Another option would be a steel casing that forms the walls around the firebox; inside this casing there is also a heater - open or closed, or both side by side. Let's look at another popular model:

Sauna stove “Sudarushka M” with cast iron firebox

A typical example of a stove in a steel casing. Only the firebox is made of cast iron, the rest is made of steel. The casing has convection slots, the lower ones are designed to take in fresh air to maintain combustion, and the upper side ones are designed to exhaust heated air. This design would be optimal only if there was a hot air outlet regulator. In its absence, convection will be considered unregulated.

Sauna stove “Sudarushka M” with a cast iron firebox.

Note that there is a reason to buy stoves with a cast-iron firebox for a bath, because their main advantage is the durability of the part of the stove that is most exposed to thermal loads. Everything else can be made of steel, but for a heater, steel is completely optimal because it transfers heat to the stones faster and is not afraid of water supply.

"Karasuk"

Budget sauna stove made of structural steel for a Russian steam room. To increase service life, the back wall of the firebox is made of two layers of metal with an air gap between them.

The volume of the combustion chamber is 40 l, the firebox is with or without an extension, it is possible to install a panoramic door with heat-resistant glass (Vitra modification). An open ventilated heater with 60 kg of stones effectively heats a room of 8-18 m3.

Useful tips

Creating electrics in a bathhouse with your own hands is a rather difficult task. It is necessary to select the right materials, create a suitable circuit, and correctly calculate the power of all household appliances. When working, it is recommended to follow the tips below:

  • Choose materials for saunas and steam rooms with heat-resistant insulation.
  • If the section of the line is a trunk line, checkpoints with a minimum cross-section of 16 sq.m. are used.
  • Sockets and switches are mounted on a metal plate.
  • Fire-resistant insulation must be laid under sections of lines.
  • Tubes for installation must be corrugated flexible PVC plastic.
  • If the bathhouse is made of logs, timber or clapboard, it is better to treat it with an antiseptic to increase its water-repellent properties.

"Skoroparka"

A furnace for quickly creating Russian steam conditions in steam rooms of medium volume - 12-20 m3. The fuel chamber has an unusual cylindrical shape and is made of alloy steel with 13% chromium content. The thickness of the firebox metal is 2 mm. A water tank is installed on top of the firebox made of similar steel, but 1 mm thick, through which the chimney pipe passes. Operational safety is ensured by the presence of safety valves that prevent the occurrence of emergency situations.

Commissioning rules

Before starting the first heating, it is necessary to ensure that the stove, water tank, chimney pipe and protective structures have been installed in accordance with the requirements mentioned above.

Note! During the first heating, oils used on metal surfaces and organic silicate enamel components may emit odor and smoke. This is quite normal, and in the future they will not stand out.

Obviously, the first start should be carried out only with the doors and windows open (the procedure should last at least an hour), the combustion chamber is fully loaded, the tank is full and the heater is empty. If all structural elements are working normally, then after heating is completed, the room is ventilated and the water is drained from the tank.

Stones can be loaded after the device body has completely cooled down and the paint has completely hardened.

"Sayans"

The mesh stove for the Sayany bathhouse has a specially designed firebox of complex design.

Mesh stove for bath Termofor Sayany

A large mass of stones (up to 120 kg) warms up slowly, but retains heat for a long time and softens most of the hard radiation from the hot furnace walls. The firebox with a volume of 34 liters is made of heat-resistant alloy steel. You can see the welding process in the video below. Very interesting and informative.

Design features of Termofor devices

The manufacturing company offers devices designed for specific climate conditions, i.e., designed for severe frosts. The combustion chambers of the furnaces are made of heat-resistant steel, previously used exclusively in the aircraft industry. Thanks to the use of chromium steel, heat is retained better, which is why the efficiency of the devices increases noticeably. All the company’s thermal devices use a double combustion system, which allows the steam room to be heated to the desired temperature in record time.

Thus, to warm up a steam room to 100°C in winter, users of Termofor stoves spend approximately 60-70 minutes; in summer, they can begin bathing procedures within half an hour after heating. The air temperature rises quickly, and the hard IR radiation created by the heater is extinguished by a special convector casing. The steam room is dynamically heated by circulating air currents, which ensures a cozy and soft atmosphere.

All the manufacturer’s stoves are based on a pyramidal heater (it can be open or closed) of significant volume (in it the stones are heated simultaneously from 5 sides). The design also includes a thin-walled combustion chamber made of high-alloy steel, a water tank, a heat exchanger and the already mentioned convector casing.

Design

Note! The capacity of the heater varies between 25-100 kg. At the same time, you can set/maintain the required temperature in the combustion chamber without even entering the steam room itself - this is possible thanks to the use of an external fuel channel (this is available in some models).

Separately, it is worth highlighting the self-cooling door of a unique design, which prevents burns from accidental touching. And if you equip the stove with a door made of heat-resistant glass, you can not only visually control the fuel combustion process, but also enjoy the sight of open flames.

Heating devices from the Termofor company are designed for baths with a volume of 4-24 m³. What is typical is that they not only heat the steam room, but also warm up the neighboring rooms, provide users with high-quality soft steam and, of course, heat the water. As for the method of installing the water tank, it all depends on the specific model. In some models, the samovar tank is located in the center, at the base of the chimney duct, which greatly simplifies operation. But in other models there is a heat exchanger with a remote tank. All water heating containers are made from high-quality stainless steel. If all operating conditions of the system are met, the water in the container will never boil, but will only heat up to 92-95°C.

Models of tanks and heat exchanger

"Tunguska"

The Tunguska sauna stove can be used to heat rooms from 8 to 18 m3. The oven is made of heat-resistant steel with a 3-year warranty. Firebox volume - 60 l.

Fast heating of the room is guaranteed not only by a large firebox, but also by a convector casing, which, firstly, effectively cools the hot walls of the stove, and secondly, distributes heat throughout the room. The oven can be equipped with a cast iron door or a steel door with heat-resistant glass. The firebox is only with removal.

The Vitra modification is equipped with a wide fireplace door that allows you to place logs across the firebox. Can be equipped with a heat exchanger.

    "Kalina"

    Large sauna stove for large steam rooms. The remote firebox is equipped with a panoramic door with heat-resistant glass (diagonal 54 cm). The high efficiency of the furnace is due to the complex geometry of the firebox. The long channel through which the air heated in the firebox passes transfers most of the thermal energy to the walls and stones (up to 100 kg). It is possible to install a heat exchanger to heat water in a remote tank.

    Stainless steel sauna stove design

    The design is no different from other metal stoves. The stainless steel stove consists of the following elements:

    1. Firebox with ash chamber. Wood burns in it, the walls become very hot.
    2. Secondary afterburning chamber for pyrolysis gases.
    3. There is a bracket for loading stones. Direct radiation from the hot walls of a metal furnace dries the air and burns. Heat is transferred through heat accumulators - stones.
    4. Chimney. Needed to remove combustion products. Its main characteristic is tightness.

    Attention! Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide entering a room cause poisoning and even death. You can’t skimp on installing chimneys - choose good materials, tight connections

    1. Additional equipment - Uttermark channels and hot water tanks, decorative fences for stone loading.

    "Aurora"

    There is an inspection hole in the back wall of the oven, covered with heat-resistant glass. Through it, from the steam room you can observe the intensity of combustion. This model - "Aurora" from Temofor - is available only with an external firebox. The volume of the steam room is from 8 to 18 cubic meters. with the “Finnish sauna” mode. The Aurora XXL modification is designed for heating decent-sized steam rooms - 12-24 m3.

    The furnace firebox is made of heat-resistant steel, the heater holds 55 kg of stones and has a reinforced bottom. The chimney outlet is located closer to the firebox, which allows the pipe to be taken out not from the steam room, but from the dressing room or washing compartment, from where firewood is stored.

    Main characteristics of cast iron sauna stoves

    Cast iron is a rather brittle material, which, at the same time, contains a large amount of carbon, which allows it to be hard. Cast iron is difficult to process, so people who work with this material cast parts from it rather than cut it.

    It is believed that cast iron stoves, which were produced in Russia, occupy a leading position in the ranking of such devices.

    This is explained by the fact that Russian stoves have preserved the original traditions of cast iron, thanks to which you can create the effect of a real Russian bath. The temperature in the stoves can reach 90 °C.

    Attention! Stoves manufactured outside the Russian Federation, for example, in Sweden, have a very high cost, but the quality of the material is also high

    Power

    When selecting a device for a bathhouse based on its power, it is necessary to pay attention to the materials that are used not only in the construction of the bathhouse, but also the stove itself

    If the bathhouse is brick, then it will take longer to heat, which means you need a stove with more power.

    As for cast iron models, their ideal power is determined by using the following formula: 1.5 × per total volume of the steam room.

    The result will be an indicator that you can use when choosing a specific model.

    Thermal capacity

    A good cast iron stove should have a heat output of 15 to 35 kW (ideally 20). Such devices consume little fuel, retain heat for a long time, and are suitable for rooms of any size.

    Material

    Despite the fact that steel stoves are in great demand, still choose gray cast iron. This material is durable and works well.

    Availability of additional functions

    Often, cast iron stoves are supplemented with some useful features.

    • For example, a clean combustion system. This means that air will escape through a special opening above the door.
    • The stiffening ribs can be located vertically.
    • Some cast iron units are equipped with a chimney.
    • The drawer can be pulled out. If you believe that secondary gases remain, the device may be equipped with a combustion system.

    "Angara 2012" - design features and reviews

    This stove has a decent firebox volume - 40 liters. Made of heat-resistant steel. Designed for a steam room from 8 to 18 cubic meters. It has many modifications with different combustion inlets and body colors. The heater is a closed type, heats the stones up to 600°C. During steam formation, water enters the hottest part of the heater through a steel tube, to the end of which a funnel is welded for convenience.

    Additionally, the stones are located at the top, in the open part. You can add water with aromatic oils to them. It is useless to do this on the stones of an internal heater - the temperature is such that everything instantly decomposes into its components, and there will be no aromas in the air (it may be burnt, a little air will be released if you pour a lot of oils).

    The stove can be heated with wood or converted to gas. Its high strength is due to the precise calculation of thermal loads and thick sheet materials with a high percentage of chromium.

    User reviews

    Customer reviews for the Angara 2012 stove are also mostly positive:

    “Beauty, there’s nothing to say! But my steam room is about 28 cubic meters. It takes longer to heat and when washing I continue to heat continuously. But I can live, I’m happy!”

    How to drown

    Before using the oven, remove any protective films or stickers from the oven. The first fire is traditionally carried out outdoors to burn off residual oils and the smell of factory paint.

    When heating outdoors, the stove should be equipped with several chimney segments for draft. Otherwise, the combustion will be unstable or the wood will not be able to light at all.

    Important! If you purchased a stove with a heat exchanger or a samovar-type tank, you should fill it with water even when pre-igniting it outside to prevent the stove from breaking down.

    "Geyser 2014"

    Geyser is a sauna stove for a Russian steam room. A two-stage steam generation system has been specially developed. There are two heaters in the oven. The water is fed into a small internal heater where it turns into hot but heavy steam. Under high pressure, this steam enters the second heater, where it is dried, and in this form - dry and light - it enters the steam room. To prevent too much water from entering the heater, a dosing valve is built into the funnel.

    Such ovens are designed for steam rooms of 8-18 m3 and are made of heat-resistant alloy steel. The 40 liter firebox is reinforced in areas of greatest load, which allows for longer service life.

    Sauna stove Termofor Teyser

    The Geyser 2014 stove receives reviews even more often than other models. Some of them:

    “I'm glad I didn't make a mistake in my choice! Steam and heat are what you need! The water also has time to warm up. It took me a long time to collect stones for the heater; it’s not an easy task. I invite everyone to the bathhouse!”

    ———

    “I think it would be worth buying an imported stove, but I’m not free with money. So I settled on the Thermofor Geyser. While still new, everything is chick-chick in the steam room. We heat it on weekends, and other times during the week.”

    How to choose the best one

    To select the right model, you should proceed from the size of the room and the preferred heating method:

    • If gas is supplied to the site, you can take a closer look at the gas heater stoves Urengoy Inox, Urengoy Carbon, Taimyr Inox and Taimyr Carbon.
    • Power . The heating capacity is selected depending on the volume of the steam room and the manufacturer’s recommendations for each model. You should adhere to the rule - the value of the volume of the steam room should not be very close to the maximum recommended by the manufacturer for using this model. It is better to add 20 - 30% to the parameters. If the oven is constantly operating at its maximum capacity, this will negatively affect its service life and ease of use.
    • Design features . If you like to watch the flame play in the burner, then you can purchase a model from the Vitra line. These stoves are distinguished by the large size of the viewing glass in the combustion door.

    • Method of heating water . You can choose a model with a samovar tank installed on the chimney or take a closer look at stoves with a built-in heat exchanger, which allows you to move the water container from the steam room to the next room. For a small bathhouse for a couple of people, it is enough to install a model with a built-in tank.
    • Firebox length . The extended combustion channel allows you to open the door into the adjacent room through the wall and load firewood there. This will keep the steam room clean. But, if you don’t want to go out once again to add firewood, you can choose a stove with a shortened combustion channel and loading firewood directly into the steam room.

    Installation of a sauna stove without helpers

    Installation recommendations from Termofor
    Each Termofor oven includes detailed installation instructions. And it is highly advisable to adhere to all recommendations: a sauna stove is a potential source of danger. There could be a fire, you could get burned or get burned. And all this is due to incorrect installation.

    First you need to decide whether your furnace requires a foundation. If the joists and floorboard are strong enough, and you are not going to make a brick screen around the stove, you can do without a foundation. Then you need to lay a steel sheet on the floor boards, the size of which is 30 cm larger than the size of the stove in all directions. It is advisable to take galvanized metal, ideally stainless steel.

    As you can see, there are no insurmountable obstacles to installing the Termofor sauna stove. Only, it is advisable to lay one or two rows of bricks, ceramic tiles, asbestos sheets, basalt cardboard, etc. under the sheet of metal. Although the floor from the stove does not heat up as much as nearby walls, it is better to protect it carefully.

    Installing a stove with a remote firebox is somewhat more difficult. It is important to remember that it is unacceptable to leave an elongated firebox in a wall made of logs without additional thermal insulation! At the point where the firebox exits into the dressing room, a cut-out is made in the logs of the partition so that the distance from the firebox and stove body to the wooden elements is at least 0.4 m. The free opening in the partition is filled with brickwork. Additionally, the tree will have to be protected from high temperatures with a layer of heat-resistant thermal insulation (use temperature no less than 800-1000oC).

    Fire safety requirements must be met by passing the pipe through the ceiling. Termofor recommends using sandwich pipes - they are currently the best option: inexpensive, have good characteristics and are quite durable. In addition, sand or slag is added around the pipe in the attic. All other elements of the installation are no longer vital - connecting the water supply, laying out the heater.

    Installation Features

    The weight of Termofor stoves reaches 250 kg, so for installation it is necessary to build a reliable base. The floor is reinforced with additional joists or a concrete foundation is poured at the location of the heating unit.

    Expert opinion

    Lovkachev Boris Petrovich

    Bath master who knows everything about steaming

    An important structural element of the stove is the chimney. When choosing this part, you should pay attention first of all to high-quality products from well-known manufacturers.

    To create reliable draft and ensure heating performance, it is recommended to operate stoves with a chimney height of at least 5 m. Reducing the height is unacceptable, since it can lead to instability of draft, a decrease in power and the danger of combustion products being released into the room.

    Important! Many buyers of Termofor stoves note weak draft and the impossibility of installing horizontal sections of the chimney of more than 1 meter due to severe deterioration in draft. Therefore, when choosing a specific model, think about the possibility of meeting all the requirements for the chimney device described in the review and given in the instructions attached to it.

    Competition between Termofor and Teplodar

    On the domestic market, the main competitor of the products is ]Teplodar[/anchor]. When choosing between these manufacturers, the buyer must be aware that any competition between suppliers of furnaces and boilers is beneficial for him. Of course, when competing for the sales market, companies improve the quality of their products and constantly modernize them.

    Nobody dares to categorically answer the question of which is better: “Teplodar” or “Termofor”. It’s just that some qualities of products from one company will exceed similar parameters from another, and vice versa. The choice will be up to the client.

    Materials for the manufacture of heating installations Termofor

    Chrome-plated heat-resistant steel for the manufacture of Termofor stoves
    The popularity of Termofor brand heating units is ensured by the excellent design and high-quality materials used in production.

    • The firebox, pockets, heater are the elements of the stove that can withstand the heat load. They are made from heat-resistant alloy steel with a chromium content of at least 13%. This material has plasticity and the necessary impact strength.
    • The use of electrodes for the housing allows us to obtain a durable design with an unlimited service life.
    • The chemical inertness of the material used for the production of the stove eliminates such a negative phenomenon as the destruction of oxygen in the air in the room.
    • Thanks to the use of heat-resistant boiler steels, it was possible to reduce the thickness of the unit walls to 2 mm. This reduced mass and thermal inertia. The Termofor stove heats up quickly.
    • The grate bars are made of cast iron. This material ensures uniform combustion of fuel in the combustion chamber.
    • Parts of the heat exchanger that are not exposed to strong thermal effects are made of structural steel.
    • The outer surfaces of the installation are painted with silicone paint.

    The low weight of the Termofor heat generator is compensated by a capacious heater, which is a steam generator.

    Pros and developments

    • The heater is insulated with a filler neck with a butterfly check valve - from the first “Geyser”;

    • Double steam generation system, with the supply of primary steam from a closed heater to the hottest points at the outlet manifold of the firebox - from the first “Geyser”;
    • Modified convection, most of the hot air heats the open heater from the inside, in the corners of the casing - from the “Angara 2012 Vitra”;
    • The cylindrical shape of the heater, due to increased strength and fewer welds - from “Angara 2012 Vitra”;
    • The casing parts are stamped with solid, profiled parts, which are both more beautiful and much more reliable - from “Angara 2012 Vitra”.

    Of course, the vast majority of models are offered in “Carbon” and “Inox” versions. But besides the various combinations and the already listed features and advantages, “Termofor has something to offer.”
